FAQ

Where and when does the Bits & Pretzels Founders Festival take place?

The Festival lasts for 3 days from 29 September- 1 October 2025.

The first two days happen at the ICM Munich - the international congress center of the Messe Munich (Messegelände, 81823 München).

At the third day 7,500 attendees gather at the original Munich Oktoberfest at Festhalle Schottenhamel for the Table Captain networking.

Is there a possibility to get a refund if I am not able to come?

Unfortunately, the tickets are non-refundable. If you can find someone who can attend the event instead of you, it’s possible to transfer the ticket to another person as long as the change has been made before the event. To do so please use the link in the email you received after your purchase. (Pro-Tip: Search for “Vivenu” in your email program).

Please be aware that the new ticket holder has to fit the ticket category. Otherwise the exchange might be denied.

How can I pay for my ticket?

We accept payment via credit card, PayPal, direct debit, and Klarna. Payment via invoice is only available on request, for purchases of the following ticket types: General Admission, Corporate Vendor, and Consultant. Additionally the minimum purchase amount for invoice payments is 1,000€ net.

Can I buy passes on behalf of my team members?

Ye, you can. After purchasing the tickets you can assign each ticket to different owners by personalizing each of them. Please make sure to use an individual email address for each user. Additionally, you can forward the tickets to the respective attendees for personalization.

Can I transfer a ticket to another person?

Yes. If a ticket has already been assigned you can re-assign the ticket until two weeks before the event. To do so please use the link in the email you received after your purchase. Pro-Tip: Search for “Vivenu” in your email program.

Can I book meetings with other attendees before the event?

Yes, you can, and most of the meetings are booked already prior to the event, right after we’ve opened our Matchmaking Tool (will go live up to 4 weeks before the event).

Our Matchmaking tool allows you to:

  • Discover any registered visitor, startup or investor, based on your search criteria
  • Book and manage meetings
  • Have meetings with prospective attendees in the Meeting Area.
  • Chat with people prior to the meetings
Are there tickets for journalists?

Journalist tickets are intended for journalists and editorial members of the press. We have a limited number of passes available, and therefore prioritize outlets with a significant following and journalists who show a track record of writing about startups, technology, or venture capital.

Freelancers, podcasters, bloggers, and other individual contributors are also welcome to apply but will be screened more thoroughly for relevance.

Please apply here: Accreditation Form

Communications and PR professionals and non-editorial employees of media companies are kindly advised to purchase an Attendee Pass.
